Makumu Private Game Lodge

Makumu Private Game Lodge offers an exclusive sanctuary for intimate weddings and romantic honeymoons in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, framed by the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Couples exchange vows directly in the bush, surrounded by sweeping wilderness views, before celebrating in total privacy with up to 12 guests.

Our wedding package includes a bush ceremony with classic white décor, a two-tier wedding cake, a traditional staff choir, and a dedicated game drive vehicle marked "Just Married" for the couple. We handle every logistical detail to make your destination wedding effortless: airport transfers, welcome amenities, a romantic private dinner, and a dedicated officiant. For couples extending their stay, our tailored honeymoon package seamlessly transitions your celebration into a tranquil, candlelit retreat.

With only six suites, every wedding and honeymoon at Makumu feels deeply personal and completely uninterrupted. Makumu is not just a venue, it's a feeling. Let us host your special day and the journey that follows.
