Makumu Private Game Lodge offers an intimate, exclusive-use setting for weddings and celebrations in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Couples say their vows in the bush, with the reserve's wildlife and endless views as a backdrop, before celebrating with up to 12 guests in complete privacy.

Our wedding package includes a bush ceremony with classic white décor, a two-tier wedding cake, a staff choir, and a private game drive vehicle marked "Just Married" for the happy couple. The celebration can include a bush breakfast, and the lodge's small-scale, six-suite design means every wedding here feels personal rather than staged.

For the couple themselves, we take care of the details that make a destination wedding feel effortless: airport transfers, welcome amenities, a private romantic dinner, and a dedicated officiator with their own transfers arranged. We also offer a tailored honeymoon package for couples extending their stay.
